Exclusive use barn sleeping up to 10 people
No2 is ideal for larger families and groups.
Downstairs, there is an open-plan kitchen area with an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and sink with hot and cold water. All the pans, plates, cutlery and glasses are included. You also have a dining table which sits up to 10 people. The cosy lounge area has sofas, chairs and Freesat TV. Heating is by a log burning stove and you can pre-order a large basket of suitable hardwood logs to keep you toasty and warm in the cooler months.
Sleeping is on the open plan 1st floor where there are 3 double beds, 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed.
Outside, there is a patio area with seating and a chimnea along with your own giant wood fired hot tub.
Your own heated toilet and shower block is just 50 metres from the
Bothy door where you'll also find a laundry and drying room. Parking is directly opposite.
We provide undersheets on the beds so you just need to bring along your own pillows, duvets/sleeping bags and towels.

We have a 2 night minimum stay and special pricing applies for Christmas and New Year. Sorry, but no pets in or around the Bothies.
Please note, we are a designated quiet site and the Bothies are not suitable for noisy or boisterous groups. We also have a no music policy. We do not accept hen or stag groups.
The Bothy has a giant Finnish wood-fired hot tub which takes between 2-3 hours to heat up depending on the time of year and each group gets a fresh fill of tap water, so no sharing other peoples' water or nasty chemicals. The hot tub can accommodate 6-8 people and is suitable for ages 5 and above. Under 14's must be supervised by an adult.
What's included with the wood-fired hot tubs
Your own exclusive use - hot tubs are right outside your accommodation.
Fresh fill of the hot tub before you arrive. The hot tubs are cleaned and sanitised between each guest stay prior to filling.
Firewood/fuel, firelighters & matches - enough for 2-3 hours bathing time per day.
Depending on the time of year, the water takes 2 - 3 hours to heat up.
The latest time we undertake hot tub inductions is 8pm (9pm if you have booked a pre-light). If you arrive after that, you won't be able to use your hot tub until the following day.
We also offer a hot tub pre-lighting service, so that the water is warm for when you arrive - ideal if you aren't arriving until after tea time. The minimum age for the hot tub is 5 years old and under-14s must be supervised by an adult. Only plastic drinking glasses are to be used when bathing, so please bring some along. A maximum of 6-8 people are allowed per tub. During freezing conditions, the hot tubs may not be available - this is rare, but if it does occur, we'll refund your hot tub fee.
Sorry, but we don't accept dogs in or around the Bothies.
Hot Tub Pre-lighting Service - £16.00
Our prelighting service will light your wood fired hot tub 1.5hrs prior to your stated arrival time. We'll then top it up after 30 mins and then again when you arrive. Leaving you to finish off the final bit of heating up the hot tub when you are settling in and unpacking.
It is REALLY IMPORTANT that you provide as accurate as possible an arrival time so that the hot tub is not lit too early or too late. The earliest time we can pre-light a hot tub for you is 2pm. Once you select the hot tub pre-lighting option with your booking, we'll email you to confirm your arrival time.
You can advise us of any change to your arrival time up to 7pm the day prior to arrival - (sorry but we can't amend after this time).
